there are different definitions in systems science, drawing from cybernetics, biology and ecology:
"a system is a set of interdependent parts sharing a common purpose." the performance of the whole is affected by each and every one of its parts.

my fundamental inquiries are:
- what are the foundational systems underlying our lives and civilizations?
a way to break them down is through the holistic cultural materialism framework - see my tentative attempt at reality mapping.

these are huge questions, with valuable perspectives drawing from different disciplines, backgrounds and traditions, across time and space.
what i intend to present here aren't definitive answers, but curated perspectives i found useful to help me orient myself and better navigate complexity - that i believe can help us coordinate towards more omni-win futures and presents.
