in its current state, it's a digital community platform, kind of a circle.so/mighty networks being built to integrate with holochain (for a truly p2p and distributed infrastructure). it's similar to neighbourhoods and weco (a couple other tools in the game b/metacrisis ecosystem), but it's easier to understand/use as it's aimed at a less technical public for now.
i hope they all integrate at some point, but often feel like they're ultimately trying to do the same thing (and still prey for the dominant paradigm of poor financial incentives for open-source software).
